Soul in a Suitcase Album Release

After more than a year of production, Four Finger Five is set to release Soul in a Suitcase on November 29, the group’s third full-length album and their most ambitious project to date. The band will be kicking off the release of Soul in a Suitcase throughout the state, with three release parties slated to rock their most-visited venues—Founder’s in Grand Rapids, Union Street Station in Traverse City, and Club Envy in Muskegon. A radio campaign and a tour will kick off in January to support the release of the album.

A nod to their audiophile fans, Soul in a Suitcase—the band’s most pristine studio album to date, mastered by Brian Lucey (Black Keys, O.A.R.)—will be offered on disc as well as vinyl, in a limited edition pressing of 300 records. The release transgresses the lines between pop, rock and soul, but the dark underpinning of Sturgill’s lyrics gives the album a unified tone that is a feat in itself on such an eclectic collection.
